Rita LeVine

Rita has spent her entire career in pursuit of that perfect “hoorah” for wedding clients and charitable organizations. Her personal flair and attention to details is evident in the many elegant and memorable events she has planned. Prior to creating Tying the Knot with Brenda and Kathy, Rita worked as a wedding consultant with a well-established wedding consulting company for eight years and then as an independent consultant for two years. Rita even managed the impossible…orchestrating the weddings of her two daughters within five months of each other. When she’s not busy with planning fabulous weddings, Rita spends her time giving back to the community through volunteer service.

Some people are just destined to be a wedding consultant. Take Brenda, for example. She has been involved in planning community events and corporate consulting for over 20 years. When talks of upcoming family weddings became the focus of every spare moment, she suddenly found herself planning these events in quick succession. The experiences were so enjoyable that she knew immediately that she had found her niche. It was time to put her creativity and organizational skills to work helping others plan their “special day”. That’s when Brenda established Tying the Knot along with Kathy and Rita. Brenda’s extensive travels have given her the opportunity to experience and glean exciting wedding ideas for Tying the Knot clients.

Leveraging her 25 years of expertise in planning special events, developing creative programming and managing a myriad of details, Kathy will do whatever it takes to make client weddings as memorable as possible. Before launching Tying the Knot with Brenda and Rita, Kathy served as a founder and owner of Baby Bundles, which specialized in personalized baby gifts, as well as a primary partner in Tumel Partners, a rental property management company. Her expertise in wedding planning was first developed through experiences assisting a wedding photographer and working with two retail stores that focused on upscale wedding invitations, stationery, and related products. Today, she uses those skills to plan Atlanta weddings. As the mother of three married sons, Kathy has the unique perspective of understanding the needs of the groom’s family. An active volunteer, Kathy believes strongly in giving back to the community.
